Cam Newton was born Cameron Jerrell Newton in May 11, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia, to his parents, Jackie and Cecil Newton Sr., a former NFL player who did not participate in the Dallas Cowboys in 1983 and Buffalo Bills in 1984. He also is the brother. Cecil Newton Jr., who most recently played for the Baltimore Ravens.
